It's a while since we've done a bird, isn't it?! So here's a very graceful one - a beautiful, white swan.

There's very lovely backlighting in the swan, which creates a wonderful glow. Backlighting gives us the opportunity to play with pretty shadow colours and I often look for backlighting when painting animals. Here we also have the still water and the reflection to set off the glowing light .
