Here's a fun lesson where we combine a loose background with tight foreground details. Always a fun combination to play with!

I've painted these trees with an autumn feel, but if it's spring for you can follow the exact same steps with lots of different greens. In fact you could make one of these for each season, to make a matching set. If you do that, then change the composition a little for each one too, to make it more interesting.
