Painting the historic Cardrona Hall
Painting the historic Cardrona Hall

Some photos of my hardworking students from this weekend. They were amazing! Each took home 5 completed paintings. A record I think for one weekend!

Day one we spent learning linear perspective, painting at the historic Cardrona church and school.

Day two was all about landscapes, with the rain chasing us inside in the morning to complete paintings from photos.

I love passing on the joy of sketching outside and handing over a bunch of skills to give enthusiastic folks the push they need to head out on their own. This is my favourite workshop to teach and I always come away buzzing!

I will have one more workshop this summer, sometime in March. It will be an inside workshop on painting landscapes in pen and watercolour. Please follow me on Facebook or Instagram, as I will announce the dates and details on there soon.

I am also available for private, one-on-one watercolour tuition. Painting outside or inside at my studio in Lake Hawea. Subject matter is your choice! Please get in touch for more details.
