nightscape in watercolour

Beginner watercolour tutorial - a moonlit night-scape
Beginner watercolour tutorial - a moonlit night-scape

A few weeks ago I painted an imaginary nightscape in my sketchbook. It was so much fun I thought I'd like to do it again on a piece of fine art paper. I know that each time I do this kind of scene it will come out a little different and there are so many things to experiment with.

So this is the latest lesson on Patreon and Renee's Studio - a moonlit scene with a dark foreground and silhouetted tree. This is an easy, relaxing painting to do, perfect for beginner watercolour painters.

Happy painting!
