my surfinias

I'm thinking about those of you in the southern hemisphere - are your social feeds full of snowy scenes like ours in the northern hemisphere? If so, you're probably hankering after a more summery scene to paint ;-)

This photo is of my surfinias that I planted in hanging pots outside our back door last summer. They were the most glorious colour and much admired by everyone who passed by. Of course, you'll notice the beautiful shadows they cast too - I waited for the light to be just right for this photo.
