how versatile is potters pink?

Potters pink watercolour pigment
A Free Watercolour Lesson: different ideas on how to use Potters pink.

Potters pink is very pretty, dusty pink with an old world feel. It granulates beautifully and is very lightfast. While pretty on its own, it’s a super versatile colour to use in all sorts of ways.

Join me as I show you a sketches from one of my recent sketchbooks and the number of ways you can use this pigment. It's beautiful for creating texture in stonework, for adding a subtle pop of complimentary colour in landscape greens, and useful when you need a soft pink.

I swatch the pigment and then paint a scene from the pretty village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie show the pigment in action.
